Megan's Bridal/TTD

This weekend I got the opportunity to shoot Megan's bridal/TTD pictures. She was great to work with and a pleasure to be around! I'm really hoping to get my foot in the wedding photography door and I feel this is a step in the right direction. :D Here are a few photos but feel free to check out all of the pictures from her session at http://kravitzphotography.zenfolio.com Enjoy!

Important social or political issue

This week's nest assignment was an importnant social or political issue to you. I was a total slacker on this this week and did it this morning (they're due on Fridays). Not too big of a deal, I knew what I wanted to use. I had a little creative fun with editing this week. :) You can view the complete collection on myspace. These are "private" on there so you will have to be one of my friends to view them. Enjoy!

This eagle is painted on a wall in Waynesville.

Learning my lesson

So today went well. I think with each shoot I get better and more comfortable. Two things learned today. SLOW DOWN! lol. I know this may seem like a simple concept that I should know, but I feel if I would have slowed down just a bit today I would have gotten so many more pictures. Don't get me wrong. I most of the pictures today turned out great, or atleast I think so, but they could have all turned out great if I would have slowed down. Mrs. P has a beautiful family and they are very photogenic and so easy to shoot. Second thing, don't give bubbles first thing to the little one's who are in white! Oops! By the time we got to the second location his shirt was dry and all was good to go.

Enjoy the photos and please leave feedback and suggestions! The complete album can be viewed at kravitzphotography.zenfolio.com :D

Mrs. P's Family

I had a shoot today with Mrs. P's family. They were SO easy to work with. Their two little boys were too cute and absolutely adorable! I'm so excited to see how everything turned out from today. I should have pictures up soon!

feeling a bit frustrated.

So im getting frustrated. This morning I woke up with no intention of going out and about to play with my camera, but then I had a wonderful idea and decided to go. My idea: get a pair of my husband's boots and a pair of my shoes and shoot them together. Not to difficult of an idea, but I still could not seem to capture the passion I wanted to. Here are some of the pics I took today. I haven't edited them yet I'm still a little frustrated by it.
I like how this one is off-center.

I love these stairs, but I don't think I did them justice. This picture, also, seems a little dark but shouldn't be too hard to fix.
So I figured out how to get the boots in focus while the heels are not, but I couldn't seem to get it right the other way around.

I like this one, but the shoes seem a little out of focus.

I really like this one too!

Finally! One that I feel does me some justice. I like this one, but it's in black and white. I know there is nothing wrong with shooting in black and white, but I would like to be able to capture this in color and do editing if I want it in black and white. Overall, I really like this one. This is what I had invisioned before shooting.

I like this one a little better than the two below. It's just not capturing what I want it too, or that's what it seems like.

This one is a little better than the one below, but in my opinion something still seems off.

This one is a little dark. Maybe it's just the spot I was shooting in.
